1972 Old Way Mai Tai

| 0.5 oz Orange Curaçao | [ Add ] |
| 0.75 oz Lime Juice | [ Add ] |
| 0.25 oz Simple Syrup | [ Add ] |
| 0.25 oz Orgeat Syrup | [ Add ] |
Method: On the Rocks
Glass: Old-Fashioned
Recipe:
- 1 oz Dark Rum (Gosslings)
- 1 oz Light Rum (I use 50/50 Light rum and spiced rum)
- 1/2 oz DeKyupper Orange Curacao
- 1/4 oz Orgeat Syrup
- 1/4 oz Simple Syrup
- Juice of one lime (About 2/3 an oz)
- Add to glass with a handfull of crushed ice and swizzle until the glass frosts.
- Top with 7-up for fizz
- Garnish with a cherry

My take on the classic 1972 "Old Way" Trader Vik's Mai Tai.
Love the addition of spiced rum - really adds a kick of flavor.
