Method: Prepare in shaker
Glass: Highball
Recipe:

1. Shake the orange juice and the tequila in a shaker.
2. Pour into a highball glass half filled with ice.
3. Carefully add grenadine syrup so that it fall at the bottom of the glass.
4. Stir a bit to create a nice degrade.
5. Garnish with an orange slice

Volume: 6.8 oz
Alcohol by volume: 12%

The drink's name was popularized in the 1973 Eagles single "Tequila Sunrise" and in the 1988 Mel Gibson/Michelle Pfeiffer film also titled Tequila Sunrise.
