Irish Gold

This Irish Gold highball is not only perfect for St. Patrick's Day, but is a nice sipper any day of the year.

Ingredients [ oz \| cl ]	[ My Bar ]
2 oz Irish Whisky	[ Add ]
¹⁄₂ oz Peach Schnapps	[ Add ]
1 splash Orange Juice	[ Add ]
2 oz Ginger Ale	[ Add ]

Method: Prepare in the glass
Glass: Highball
Recipe:

Build the whiskey, schnapps and juice in a highball glass filled with ice.
Top with ginger ale.
Garnish with a lime wheel.

Volume: 4.6 oz
Alcohol units: 2.7 standard drinks
Alcohol by volume (ABV): 20%

Hi Johnniepop, I did not swap the peach schnapps, I used diet ginger ale instead of normal ginger ale. Sorry for the confusion.

Swap the each schnapps for more ginger ale? I don't understand - this doesn't make much sense. Remove an ingredient and you have a different cocktail. It is a different thing, if the p.s. feels too much and you reduce its quantity. On a greatest extent, the schnapps can be swapped for peach bitters, but even that quite a deviation.

I thought the peach flavor was a little too dominant, though I used diet ginger ale in my mix.
