Amaretto Sour

Not too sweet, not too sour - just super pleasant. Worth the extra effort to make.

Ingrédients [ oz \| cl ]	[ Mon bar ]
³⁄₄ oz Rhum Blanc	[ Ajouter ]
1 ¹⁄₂ oz Amaretto	[ Ajouter ]
1 trait Orange Bitters	[ Ajouter ]
³⁄₄ oz Jus de citron	[ Ajouter ]
1 c. à café Rich Simple Syrup	[ Ajouter ]
¹⁄₂ oz Blanc d'oeuf	[ Ajouter ]

Méthode: Préparer dans un shaker
Verre: old-fashioned
Recette:

Beat the egg white before using. One large egg should give about 1 oz. of beaten white.
Dry shake all ingredients.
Add ice and shake.
Strain into glass filled with fresh ice.
Garnish with lemon peel and brandied cherries, if desired.

Histoire

Based on Jeffrey Morgenthaler's "Best Amaretto Sour in the World". Instead of cask-proof (120 proof) bourbon, I used white rum and some bitters. I also decreased lemon juice from 1 oz. to 3/4 oz.
