- Add the whiskey and the vermouth into a mixing glass filled with ice.
- Stir using a mixing spoon,(Manhattan's should NEVER be shaken)
- Strain into a chilled glass (no ice)
- As any Manhattan drinker can tell you, adding the cherry in the glass is essential
